Terms of Service — T&C Lens

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the T&C Lens browser extension and website (tclens.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

T&C Lens is a tool designed to analyze legal documents using Artificial Intelligence. We are not lawyers, and the output generated by this extension does not constitute legal advice. You should not rely on T&C Lens to make critical legal, financial, or personal decisions.

3. T&C Lens AI Credits

If you purchase credits for the hosted T&C Lens AI tier, you are purchasing a non-refundable, non-transferable license to access our API endpoint.

One (1) credit equals one (1) successful API analysis request.
Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
We reserve the right to modify the underlying AI models (e.g., DeepSeek) powering the service at any time without notice.

4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

If you use the BYOK feature, you are solely responsible for any costs, rate limits, or terms of service violations incurred with your chosen third-party AI provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall T&C Lens, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
